When The Shadows Linger

What if the spirits you encounter never truly leave?

What if their energy lingers, shaping the spaces-and even the people-around you?

In When the Shadows Linger, Paul R. Ost continues the journey begun in his first memoir, When the Footsteps Stop, exploring the residual energy left behind by paranormal encounters-whispers in empty rooms, fleeting shadows, and unseen traces that remain long after the moment has passed.

In his deeply personal follow-up, Ost uses gentle humor, unflinching honesty, and the quietly reflective voice readers embraced in his first book, as he explores how these presences have shaped his understanding of the world, his clairvoyant and mediumistic abilities, and his ongoing path toward self-acceptance.

These are stories not only of encounters, but of their aftermath-of learning to live with what does not always leave.

The footsteps may have stopped...but the shadows linger.
