Hanner estimates that almost one-third of the adults in the United States suffer from chronic illnesses, many of which are difficult to impossible to diagnose in a timely manner. Hanner discusses how to relate to the medical profession as well as how to deal with your family and friends when you are sick but don't know why. Her own experiences as well as those of others shine with her desire to help the unfortunate undiagnosed. Highly recommended for its common sense approach and helpful ideas. Essential for consumer health collections.
