There is a lot of Scarlet and Gray in this title, but also short lines, Amtrak, and experimental power liven up the photograph collection. Cabooses, timber trestles, scenic vistas and a mix of older and newer diesels plus a few steam photographs of Cab-forwards and AC-9s make for a good selection of photographs. The photograph collection presented here is from the 1950s to 1996 before the purchase of the Southern Pacific by the Union Pacific. The previously unpublished photographs of David Houston, Greg Brown and Todd Montgomery are proudly presented in large format, just as they were photographed. 99% of my listings are NEW BOOKS still in the printers shrink wrap. Defective DVDs will be replaced by the same title if available. Since most of my books are in NEW CONDITION opened and thumbed through titles become used and up to a 20 percent re-stocking/used charge will apply. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.

Shipping Terms

Books, DVDs and CDs will ship Media Mail in the United States unless the customer chooses Priority Mail. International orders will ship USPS First Class Mail International (4 lbs. or less) or USPS Priority Mail International (greater than 4 lbs.) or via DHL and their agents (when cost is less than the postal carriers). International shipping costs are based on books weighing 1 pound as ABE bases shipping on the number of items not the weight of the book. The carriers charge by weight. If your book order is heavy or over sized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.

Most orders ship in 1-2 business days. Shipping times cannot be guaranteed especially with the pandemic. Transit times are only estimates based on the carriers' stated delivery times, and do not include Customs processing for International orders. If your order will pass through Customs, please expect a delay.
