Mr Toad loves how exciting and colourful Shirley’s Garden becomes in Spring, but he is frustrated that no one else sees it. How could they miss seeing their Garden change in amazing ways with the onset of Spring?

As all the Garden inhabitants go on with their everyday business, Mr Toad decides he is going to get them to stop and look at Spring exploding in the Garden.

A Garden Contest is his clever way to get everyone involved, and everyone does, but things do not turn out quite as he expects. The Garden residents challenge him in the Contest, and he soon discovers that there are other ways to enjoy the Garden in Spring.

Book 3 in this Series, continues to bring simple lessons home through Australian flora and fauna. It inspires one to reflect and share one’s thoughts and feelings, to be open to other points of view and enjoy being in nature.

Dr Diann Rodgers-Healey in her fiction work imagines worlds within worlds to whimsically celebrate life. She is an Adjunct Professor in The Cairns Institute of James Cook University and has lectured in leadership, management and education in the University of Wollongong. She has held positions of leadership and management in Sydney and London in diverse sectors including education, business and the not-for-profit sector. She has coached and mentored women and men in leadership and management and worked with organisations to advance leadership pathways since 2004. Diann was the recipient of the University of Wollongong's 2015 Alumni Award for Social Impact. In 2014, she was named as one of the '100 Women of Influence' in Australia by Westpac & the Financial Review.' She was also selected as one of the 100 women who have "made a world of difference" to the economic empowerment of women by The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) in Canada for its 2009 World of Difference Awards.
