Johan du Toit grew up in a remote community, eight hours' drive north of Cape Town in South Africa. He immigrated to Australia with his family in 1994. Johan found an opportunity to write short fiction through membership of a writers' group. In 2022 MEANDERING ROAD, a collection of his short stories, was produced by Broadcast Books and published independently. Johan lives with his wife in Sydney.
