When You Can Walk on Water, Take the Boat

"When You Can Walk on Water, Take the Boat" is a triumphant journey of self-discovery that will change the very way you look at the world.

Like most of us, John was an ordinary man who calmly accepted the problems of his life and career without any real hope or insight. Then a miracle happened.

He met a strange, wise businessman named Gideon. It was a brief encounter, filled with mystery. But for John, it was the beginning of a soul-searching journey a joyous awakening of self-understanding, inner truth and the power of universal love that lives within us all.

It is a journey you can share too.

Prize-winning scholar and award-winning author, John Harricharan is a unique blend of East and West. John graduated summa cum laude in Chemistry and also holds an MBA from Rutgers University. He started his career with Fortune 500 Corporations and worked his way into upper level positions.

A few years later, John decided to blend his corporate expertise with his entrepreneurial talents which resulted in an extremely successful, international company with offices in many parts of the world.

However, he was to know success as well as failure. The events that led to both are chronicled in his books, "When You Can Walk on Water, Take the Boat" and "Morning Has Been All Night Coming." These books, rather than being tales of loss and sadness are, instead, inspiring testimonies of courage, strength and the dignity of the human spirit.

A multi-cultural, global personality, John Harricharan travels widely, lecturing and conducting seminars around the world. He has shared the lecture platform with speakers such as Deepak Chopra, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Og Mandino, Gerald Jampolsky, Foster Hibbard, Eric Butterworth and others.

John lives in a suburb of Atlanta with his two children. He believes with total conviction that all people are shipmates on the common voyage of life and you cannot sink your shipmates without sinking yourself.
