The intention is to help parents constructively pick up the pieces of a broken marriage and move on. Divorce doesn't mean a family is dissolved forever. It can be seen as an opportunity for personal growth. With some introspection and thoughtful effort, parents can realize their strengths and resources.

Muriel M. Ricker, MS, LMFT, holds a Masters Degree in counseling from Villanova University and received her post graduate certification in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. She has a private practice in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
