There are markings on 14 pages, mostly near the onset of the book - only 1 page which would be considered moderate. No part of the text is obscured. There is also an imprinted name-stamp, and a date of the front free endpaper, and a modicum of writing on the back endpapers. There is a roundish black mark on bottom edge. In spite of the marks the book is clean and quite robust, with a strong binding, no tears, and no page folds. Includes many black and white illustrations.
