About the Author

Sabbithry Persad is a writer who tackles issues we face in the global community. Persad is the author of What Is Coronavirus? How It Infects, How It Spreads, and How to Stay Safe and the Garbology KidsŪ waste management series for children, which include Where Do Recyclable Materials Go?, Operation: Reuse It!, and We Can Reduce: Precycle It! and have been mentioned in many publications like Time for Kids, Recycling Today, Green Teacher Magazine, Green Living Magazine, and Mother Nature Network. Persad received her degree in sociology from New York University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida and a Graduate Diploma in Books, Magazine, and Electronic Publishing.
