Where We Could Not Touch

In a world divided by an invisible boundary, touch is no longer a simple act—it is a rule, a risk, and a measure of distance.

Kian and Ayla grow up on opposite sides of a line that reshapes how people live, love, and belong. As the world adapts to separation, their lives unfold in parallel—connected by memory, observation, and a bond that must survive without proximity. What begins as quiet awareness deepens into something more enduring, testing how love persists when presence is denied.

Where We Could Not Touch is a speculative novel about waiting, restraint, and the spaces between people that cannot be crossed, yet are never truly empty. Told with subtlety and emotional precision, it explores how connection survives under impossible rules—and how some distances are felt most deeply when they are finally allowed to close.
