Where Were You When I Needed You, Dad?: A Guide For Healing Your Father Wound

Offers adults whose fathers were absent, abusive, or remote while they were growing up a series of exercises designed to help one come to terms with the past and develop self-confidence and a positive self-image

Dr. Drew's approach to the complex, often baffling phenomenon of the father-wound is practical, easy to understand, and made meaningful through many simple yet powerful exercises proven to raise consciousness, to destroy the mythology that often perpetuates the negativity, and to create a mental and emotional environment that supplies comfort, stimulates a reversal of attitude (without ever losing sight of the seriousness of the issue), and encourages rapid personal progress and significant emotional growth in a powerful progression that ultimately leads to a spiritual transformation that she postulates in the new Section Nine of the expanded second edition of her popular book.
