Whisper of the Heart

Starting over is never easy.

On the run from an abusive home and shunned by her family and friends, Arlana and her son seek refuge on a family farm. Heartbroken and with no one to turn to, she finds comfort in her new neighbours who welcome her with open arms. Finally trusted and accepted by those you'd least expect, she's able to settle in and find happiness.

Happiness has a way of being short-lived when you're running from your past.

Arlana's family back home is unravelling at the seams. Her friendship takes a step in the wrong direction, and everything starts to come apart again

.

Will love be enough to mend her broken heart? Or will that very love threaten to topple all the happiness she's built?

Angeline Gallant traces her roots through generations of Old Stock Canadian heritage, her passion for genealogy as deep and enduring as the forests and fields her ancestors once walked. With a reverence for history and an eye for detail, she weaves stories from the fragments of lives left behind in letters, records, and weathered headstones.

An avid reader and devoted writer, Angeline brings the past to life with a curiosity for heraldry and a deep love for the landscapes that shaped her family's story. Each name and date she uncovers feels less like history and more like coming home, a familiar echo in the vast tapestry of time. For her, these stories are not forgotten-they live, breathing in the quiet spaces of memory and tradition, a testament to lives once lived, now eternal in the pages of her books.
