The Whispering Tree: Some roots should never be disturbed

When seventeen-year-old Lena Hart is sent to stay with her aunt in a remote cottage deep in the Blackwood Forest, she thinks it’ll be a boring, quiet summer — no phone signal, no friends, just endless trees.

But the forest holds secrets.

A towering, twisted oak looms outside her bedroom window — its bark carved with names that shouldn’t exist, its branches whispering at night. Locals warn her to stay away. Yet when Lena hears her own name murmured from the tree’s hollow, curiosity becomes obsession.

Something ancient and hungry has been waiting beneath those roots — and it knows she’s here.

As the days darken, Lena uncovers the truth about the forest, her family, and the price of listening to whispers. But the more she digs, the more she realizes: the tree doesn’t want her to leave.

And it never lets anyone go.

A chilling, cinematic horror story packed with suspense, dread, and a devastating twist ending you’ll never forget.

The forest doesn’t just grow… it remembers.

A weekend escape. A secluded cottage. A whispering forest.
