Who You're Becoming: Building the Habits, Mindset, and Identity That Shape Your Future (Pathlight Youth)

Who You're Becoming is not about fixing what's broken-it's about building what's next.

As the eighth book in the Built from the Inside social-emotional learning and reentry series, this powerful guide helps incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals move from reflection to reconstruction. You've done the inner work. You've faced the mirror, named your truth, and owned your past. Now the question is: who are you willing to become?

This book focuses on the habits, identity, and daily decisions that shape your future. Through personal stories, guided exercises, and real-world tools, Uncle Aaron leads you step by step through the process of building a life aligned with purpose and integrity.

Inside this book, you'll learn how to:

Use daily habits to reinforce the version of yourself you're becoming

Replace self-sabotage with self-discipline

Turn your pain into purpose-driven progress

Make peace with who you were, and build confidence in who you're becoming

Whether you're inside a facility or already rebuilding your life on the outside, this book meets you where you are-and walks with you as you grow.

Every chapter includes:

Real-life narratives and insights from Uncle Aaron

Self-assessment tools and identity exercises

Practical tools for building discipline and structure

Group discussion prompts for facilitators and peer mentors

Perfect for reentry programs, transitional housing support, and self-guided growth, Who You're Becoming is more than a workbook. It's a roadmap for transformation-one honest day at a time.

This is your future. Let's build it from the inside.
