Who Controls the Hunt? – First Nations, Treaty Rights, and Wildlife Conservation in Ontario, 1783–1939

Restrictions were imposed on hunting and trapping, completely ignoring Anishinaabeg hunting rights set out in the Robinson Treaties of 1850.
