soft cover shows a mailing label at the right rear, numerous short; an acceptable reading; Fair Clean pages except for dust staining at edges and mild age-toning in margins edge tears, significant discoloration and scuffing at spine, scattered handling creases, and short tears at the spine heel copy. 144pp. This issue includes a column by William H. Calvin on low-tech methods for predicting solar and lunar eclipses that he speculates may have been used by premodern holy people, as well as contributions by Penny Hoover, Roger Karraker, Gareth Branwyn, Wavy Gravy, the poet Sparrow, and others. The back cover features a promotion for the Burning Man festival from when it was a very different sort of experience.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 1 business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We ship via US Postal Service and can insure upon request (insurance is free on items over $200). All shipments are protected from water, padded, reinforced if potentially bendable, and boxed if fragile or over $50 in value (otherwise, a bubble mailer may be used).
