The Whole Time, God was There: Hiding is Not an Option when You are Healing

She thought silence would keep her safe. She thought pretending would make the pain disappear. She thought no one would ever believe her truth.

From the outside Alexis was a bright Southern girl with a big smile, a kind heart, and a family that looked whole. But behind closed doors she carried wounds no child should ever have to bear. Her cries were ignored. Her innocence was stolen. And every time she tried to speak, someone she trusted chose silence instead of protection.

This is the story she was never supposed to tell. The Whole Time, God Was There is a Based on True Events journey through trauma, secrecy, betrayal, and survival. It is the testimony of a woman who learned to live again after being broken in places no one could see. With raw honesty and life changing vulnerability, Alexis invites readers into the moments that shaped her, shattered her, and saved her.

Through flashbacks, emotional confrontations, and the long road to healing, this story reveals a powerful truth. Even when people failed her, even when darkness tried to swallow her whole, even when she felt abandoned and invisible, God never left. He covered her. He carried her. And in the exact moment she could bear no more, He sent the people who would hold her together until she found her own strength again.
