Kennedy graduated in 1982 from Caribbean Union College, as president of his class and married the gorgeous and gifted Esther Simmons, from St Lucia, a graduate of West Indies College. Their wonderful children are Kenesha, Kenesky and Kenesma. In 1991 graduated from Indiana State University with a Masters Degree in Counseling. In 1994 started the family business known as Kenes Company; they provide a wide variety of vending services. After twenty six years of pastoring, teaching, counseling, and conducting Seminars in the Caribbean and America, the Lord called Kennedy to begin Prosperity Ministry in 2003. The Ministry's vision is to mend the great disconnection between what is taught in the Bible and what is practiced during the week. He published his first book, "You are Prosperous Believe it or not!
