Why Do I Feel This Way?: Healing Energetic and Epigenetic Patterns To Live Your Life Fully

Are you curious to know why you feel the way you do? Do you ask yourself why patterns and behaviors keep repeating in your life?
The answer may not begin with you, but it can end with you.

In this transformative book, Laura Mayer invites readers on an epigenetic journey to explore how inherited beliefs, generational trauma, and early emotional wounds influence our biology, behavior, and sense of self. With candor and compassion, she weaves personal narrative, science-based insight, and profound emotional truths to help you decode the unseen storylines that drive your pain—and rewrite them.
Grounded in energenetics—where energy, emotion, and genetics meet—Why Do I Feel This Way reveals a new lens through which to understand your health, your history, and your healing. The book is more than a memoir or self-help guide; it's a roadmap for reclaiming your truth, one layer at a time.
The book is not just about healing the past. It's about reclaiming the future—with clarity, compassion, and the power to transform.

Whether you are navigating illness, emotional pain, or the desire to feel more whole, this book will remind you:
Your story matters. Laura is masterful at identifying behaviors lurking around the corner, setting up roadblocks, and interfering with your well-being. Since being introduced to the science of epigenetics, Laura has found clarity and resolution to patterns that have been hiding deep within her core and she is delighted to share her knowledge with you!
