Why Healing Feels Broken: Reframing Healing Through the Posture of the Lamb

Why does healing sometimes feel broken even when we believe God still heals?
What if your pain isn’t punishment—but preparation?
Can faith and restoration truly meet us in our weakness?

Why Healing Feels Broken is a Christian healing book that invites readers into a spiritual healing journey—one where brokenness and healing coexist, and God’s power is revealed through suffering. Instead of chasing instant miracles, this book offers a biblical perspective on healing rooted in humility, alignment, and the posture of the Lamb.

Through rich teaching and pastoral wisdom, Eual A. Phillips Jr. explores how Jesus modeled healing through presence, not performance. Using the R.A.P.H.A. framework (Relational Confession, Alignment with the Lamb, Priestly Mediation, Humble Surrender, and Authority through Weakness), Phillips unveils how believers can experience faith and restoration in seasons of waiting, weakness, and uncertainty.

Readers will discover how:

• Healing through suffering reveals God’s deeper grace.

• Brokenness and healing are both part of restoration in Christ.

• Prophetic healing begins when we align our hearts with the Lamb.

• Healing in weakness leads to wholeness and divine authority.

If you’ve ever prayed, “Why hasn’t my healing come yet?” or wondered whether your faith has failed, this book will meet you with truth and compassion. Why Healing Feels Broken redefines healing not as a miracle delayed—but as the sacred process where God’s strength perfects your surrender.
