Why Are People Like That?: And Other Questions I Ask Myself Daily

If people have ever annoyed you, confused you, frustrated you, or made you quietly wonder, “Why are people like that?” — this book is for you.

From grocery store behavior to workplace chaos, awkward conversations to public meltdowns, K. S. Wall takes a blunt, hilarious look at the strange habits, contradictions, and everyday nonsense that make human beings both exhausting and entertaining.

Through short, sharp observations drawn from years of trucking, working with the public, and surviving everyday life, this book explores the things people do that leave the rest of us staring in disbelief.

Why do people stand in doorways?
Why does nobody use turn signals?
Why do people say they hate drama while creating it everywhere they go?
And why does everybody suddenly become an expert after watching one online video?

Funny, relatable, sarcastic, and painfully accurate, Why Are People Like That? is a collection of real-life observations about modern human behavior — including the weird things we all do ourselves.

Because honestly… none of us are as normal as we think we are.
