This offering is a vintage HARD cover Deluxe Edition copy of a How and Why Wonder Book very good condition. The How and Why Wonder Book of Planets and Interplanetary Travel was written by Dr. Harold J. Highland and illustrated by Denny McMains. The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers and is a 1970 Printing and book number 4027 in their series. It is 8 1/2" by 11 1/8", and has 48 pages with a Table of Contents and three - color, color and black-and-white illustrations throughout the book. It's in very good condition and would provide a really nice look for the elementary/early middle school student at the fascinating astronomical subject of planets and interplanetary travel.
