The Widow of Smugglers Cove

When a reclusive widow is found dead on the jagged rocks of Smugglers Cove, the quiet coastal town of Moonridge Bay is once again shaken by buried secrets.
Janice Hart, librarian and reluctant sleuth, is drawn into the investigation when an old journal surfaces among the widow's belongings - one containing veiled references to Janice's late great-aunt... and a list of names from Moonridge Bay's past.
As Janice and her loyal therapy dog, Shadow, begin to untangle the clues, they discover the widow had been blackmailing someone in town. The scheme may be rooted in an infamous smuggling ring, thought to have vanished nearly thirty years ago. But someone is determined to keep that past sealed - even if it means silencing anyone who gets too close.
