Hollis prepared for the role as Director of The Next Chapter Widows' Ministry by earning her certification in Biblical Counseling; titled "Caring for People God's Way" through the American Association of Christian Counselors from Light University located in Forest, Virginia. In addition, she's a certified leader and facilitator of the Worldwide Discipleship Association's curriculum "Restoring Your Heart" at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
