What makes a children's book good For me, it's how my kids react to it! And, man, they loved skylerandfriends upcoming book "Wiener Dog, Weiner Dog, How'd you get so long?" This story is about Skyler (I mean, that is one of my daughters' names, so we were just destined to go Gaga for this one right?!?!) and his Weiner Dog, Pennylane (oh man, a Beatles song reference too!). Skyler wants to know why his dog is soooo long and different from other dogs. His questions are funny, thoughtful and really bring out childhood innocence. This book has a message of acceptance and a portion also goes to the #peppermintpiganimalrescue !
Bonus points (as if it needs any): the author is just the absolute nicest person who spreads positivity everywhere!
