Reprint. Mathiews was Chief Librarian for the Boy Scouts of America. This work, previously published by D. Appleton and Company, was "published with the approval of the Boy Scouts of America." Collection of 27 stories accompanied by vintage black-and-white illustrations by different artists. Cover extremities moderately rubbed, with corners rubbed through to boards. Few minor spots to rear cover cloth. Occasional light smudges to interior margins, but mostly clean and tight.
