A Beautiful volume in Near Very Good condition in same condition Dust Jacket. Illustrated book boards mirror jacket. Volume has gently bumped corners with a 1/2" thin spit at very top edge of rear panel. Very light extremity shelf wear overall. Blank front free end-paper has a previous owner gift inscription, dated 1946 with a small holiday sticker, No other markings at all. A clean and tight copy. Eight splendid full color illustrations by Diane Thorne with text following for each. Illustrator Thorne was a famed illustrator of animals, mainly canines. Dust jacket has small edge chips and short closed tears overall, and is mildly soiled. Still beautiful and nearly a century old. 90 pages. Protected in a mylar slip.
