Wild Card (Mason Sharpe Thrillers)

The house always wins—until Mason Sharpe rolls the dice.

Former Army Ranger Mason Sharpe arrives in New Jersey looking for nothing more than a quiet stopover. But a deadly car crash puts him face-to-face with Piper Haines, a frantic young woman who insists that someone is trying to kill her.

Mason dismisses her wild claims—until her house explodes and the local cops call it a gas leak.

What follows is a chain of violence, corruption, and cover-ups that all lead back to Bill Ashcroft, a ruthless casino mogul with sweeping political power, deep pockets, and a very long reach.

But Mason doesn’t scare easily. With the unshakable Piper at his side, he launches a no-holds-barred campaign to expose Ashcroft’s schemes and take him down.

For his part, Ashcroft didn’t build an empire just to watch some drifter destroy it. He’s going to fight back with everything he’s got. And in his world, the house always wins.

What he doesn’t know? Mason Sharpe is the ultimate Wild Card.
