Heavy paperwraps with 2 white tailed bucks on the cover.All edges show min. wear. Some edge staining (that I like to see on a cook book, I take it as a measure of quality).Coils have marked wrappers thru use but all is tight. Prev. owner name. There are 5 or so pages of advertising thru out , mostly from Nipiwin,Sask.(BAD PUN- a cook book sponsored by the Elks of Carrot River) Sections of the text include; Fish,Wild Meats,Wild Birds, Miscellaneous and Beverages. One recipe highlight from each: `Seviche' (pickerel filets), `7 Step Jerky' (venison),` Partridge with Morello Cherries', `Cheesy Wild Rice Bake', or ` Cattail Pollen Pancakes' and `Red Clover Tea'. Each section is introduced by a full page colour photograph by R.R. Taylor of Winnipeg. Size: 8vo.

I can handle your credit card transactions ONLY through the ABE.commerce program. PAYPAL is also a workable option. We under rate the condition of our books, build cardboard shipping sleeves for protected shipping and respond promptly to requests and queries. Shipping and handling on all books is at the expense of the purchaser, and is often in the $12.95 per item range. Book weight and volume purchases will alter these conditions. We will be happy to re-quote books in Canadian dollars for local buyers and to arrange local `hand-offs'of purchases, if you prefer.
