The red district, the part of the internet that learns and adapts, had been studying how Leonardo worked for eighteen months. They built something designed to fool him. It did.

Now Blaze and her cheetah companion Stanley have four days to rebuild the framework, correct the forty people who received the flawed version, and warn Devon, the class antagonist turned unlikely ally, before he uses the broken test at a school board meeting to challenge evidence that actually matters.

Devon's question has been driving everything since Book One: what if the thing checking is also wrong? In The Wrong Answer, that question stops being theoretical. The method fails. The chain gets contaminated. And Blaze has to stand up in front of her class and say the words that are harder than any answer she's ever given: I was wrong about this specific thing in this specific way.
