About the Author
Taylor Bruce is the founder and editor of the Wildsam series of American field guides. The guides incorporate the best of travel storytelling, from personal essays to local interviews, to archival anecdotes, all aimed at capturing the living history of some of America's favorite cities. Selected by National Geographic as a part of the prestigious Traveler 50 list in 2014, the series has expended to include field guides to great American road trips. Previous to starting Wildsam, Taylor's writing appeared in Men s Journal, Paste, and Oxford American, among others.
