Will I Ever Be the Same Again? Transforming the Face of ECT (Shock Therapy) [Paperback] Carol A. Kivler and Singles Design

Blessed with a loving family and a successful career, Carol was suddenly and unexpectedly brought to her knees by "The Beast"—clinical depression. The story of her journey to recovery from medication-resistant depression with the use of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is not only informative but inspires hope in others suffering from this debilitating illness. The book provides a roadmap for recovery while addressing the misconceptions and pervasive stigma associated with depression and ECT. Original.
