Add to basketMeggie Ramm (they/them) is a non-binary cartoonist and comic educator currently living in Chelsea, Michigan. They graduated from California College of the Arts with an MFA in Comics in 2017. They taught comics to kids, and lead panels at libraries and schools in Oakland, California for five years while creating Littlest Dungeon Guard comic strips for Sunday HaHa. They’ve done work for the New Yorker, Everyday Feminism, and Silver Sprocket, and have comics in the Advanced Death Saves, Gun Controlled, and Votes 4 Women anthologies. Their anti-anxiety pocketbook You Will Be Okay was published through Silver Sprocket in 2019. In 2024, they were invited to be a special guest at San Diego Comic Con and gave a spotlight panel on Teaching Kids Comics. They love rhymes, reading gay sci-fi and fantasy, and comics.
Their first comic Batcat came out with Abrams in 2023, the sequel Batcat: Sink or Swim in 2024, and the third book Batcat: Cooking Contest! in 2025. You can keep up to date on upcoming projects by following Meggie on instagram or Bluesky @meggietheramm.
