Will, Power and Promises

"A promise is an agreement to do or not to do something; it’s a vow. There are some people who take a promise to heart. Edith was such a person. Edith Smith who lived in Baltimore and Norma Welsh who lived in Texas, were more than just best friends. They were more like sister. , Those the distance, they shared lives together, for more than three decades.When Norma died four short months after her wedding, she sent her grief stricken husband to her friend Edith. Edith heart broke for herself and her new brother-in-law. In her grief and her compassion for him, Edith promised. She promised Norma, to help him get through the grief. She promised him, she would go back to Texas, to take care of him. She promise her herself, to cherish the people you love even if you don’t like them at times. Then there was Norma’s Will. When someone dies it can affect your whole life. Can someone manipulate your life from the grave?"

A.N.Hopps was born in Baltimore where she raised two children alone. Her main focus was working and supporting her children. Writing has been a great part of her life. She has been writing most of her life. She used it as her entertainment. As a young adult her first book was a collection of 20 plays compiled into a book title 'Bean People Plays'. 'Once Upon a Wedding' was the first published book, which inspired the writing of its sequel 'Will Power and Promises, After the arrival of her grandson she start writing children books, for lack of children's book that address or interest little boys. There are fourteen children's books just waiting their turn to be published. She has always enjoy writing for her friends; poems for weddings and plays for her church groups. The books 'Once Upon a Wedding' and 'Will Power and Promises' were a request from her daughter to write books that she would want to read. For many years her daughter and son pushed for the publishing of these books in the back ground while she supported her family.
