Willow's Journey (Paperback or Softback)

An excited pup. A heart full of hope. And a journey to find the family who will finally love her for who she is…

Willow is an excitable ball of energy with a habit she just can’t kick, chewing shoes!
It’s a quirk that has caused family after family to give up on her, and in her short life she has already been passed through three different homes. Now, Willow is at YAPS, hoping desperately for a fresh start.

Inside the shelter, she meets a wise older dog who teaches her the most important lesson of all:
the right family will come, she just needs to be patient and stay true to herself.

When Willow is adopted thanks to her golden coat and irresistible puppy charm, everything seems perfect. But a question lingers…
Will her new family love the real Willow, her quirks, her energy, and her shoe-chewing ways?

Full of warmth, wisdom, and wagging-tail joy, Willow’s Journey is a heartfelt tale about second chances, self-acceptance, and the true meaning of belonging.
Perfect for young readers, animal lovers, and anyone who believes every dog deserves a forever home.

Leisa Fail, author of The Adventures of Stormy Normy series, brings young readers a heartwarming short story with Willow's Journey, a touching prequel about second chances and finding where you belong. A graduate in creative writing from Griffith University, Leisa's love for animals shines through her storytelling, inspired by real-life experiences with her endurance horse, The Storm. Through Willow's Journey, she continues to share stories that celebrate resilience, friendship, and the unbreakable bond between animals and their humans.

Amy Rennie is an illustrative artist that combines her love of animals into her creative spirit. She splits her spare time between art, reading, gaming and horse riding. But her real love is fostering cats and looking after her own furrbabies. Amy has never received any tertiary or formal training in art, however she has been creating art for over three decades. All thanks to encouragement and support of her mother. When asked to join Willow's Journey and The Adventures of Stormy Normy book series, as the illustrator, Amy couldn't have been happier to share her love of animals and art with the world.
