Namaste! I choose to write the book on this topic because I come across many teen girls and women with painful menstruation at my yoga center. I took it as a challenge, to give a solution for this condition. So, I chose my thesis on this topic which I reach the society to give the solution through this book. For your reference, I have added some testimony from my students. In this book, I have given vast knowledge about painful menstruation (the lifestyle disease - dysmenorrhoea). I discussed the role of Yoga therapy and the Natural cure for treating painful menstruation.

About the Author -

A brief overview of Mrs. Vijayapriya Ganeshjeevan’s career as a Yoga Instructor and Senior Yoga Therapist is notable by her educational achievements, including an M.Sc. in Yoga and Naturopathy from Tamil Nadu Sports University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy, and an MPhil in Yoga and Naturopathy, In 2007, she founded Alpha Yogalaya in Chennai, creating a center for yoga, yoga therapy and yoga education. In 2019, she expanded her role from practical yoga teaching to include theoretical instruction, establishing a Yoga Therapy and Yoga Education department in collaboration with Dr. S. Anand. Mrs. Vijayapriya Ganeshjeevan has played a key role in organizing Mitra Milan, an event dedicated to promoting the significance of yoga. Her dedication to teaching is evident in her training of numerous students for competitions and performances, as well as her successful guidance of twenty-three women, both in India and internationally, equipping them to independently conduct yoga sessions.
