The attractive layout is bright and colorful; photographs depict happy children. Easy-to-follow instructions include warning symbols that advise readers when to seek an adult�s help. A short conclusion, a quiz, and a glossary round out each volume. In lieu of a bibliography, each text directs readers to the library or the Internet for further exploration.
