The children's classic with a frontispiece by Graham Robertson (And a River went out of Eden - see image). Debossed floral decoration on the upper board (blue calico texture cloth) above the book's title. The spine is a darker shade of blue (possibly even dark green) with gilt titles. There is some curling at the corners and mild wear and fading in places. Internally, there is generally mild to moderate tanning; more pronounced on the preliminary and final pages. (In particular, two pages (a front and a rear endpaper) are especially impacted - see example image of the rear endpaper). Pencil dedication in top right corner of endpaper directly opposite front pastedown reads: To May, From Mrs Latham. Christmas 1927. TEG. Printed on laid paper.
