Jinjer Simon started her computer career in 1984 when she entered college and took her first computer programming class. Since that time, it seems that very little transpires in her life without somehow being associated with a computer. She rarely ventures far without a computer of some type -- which makes her handheld PC such a welcome addition to her life because it gives her the freedom to take a computer everywhere.

Jinjer has worn several hats in the computer industry, ranging from computer programmer to end-user support and documentation development. She currently works as a consultant, designing online computer documentation for Microsoft Windows software, writing user manuals, creating software training guides, and developing Internet Web sites.
Jinjer lives in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, with her husband Richard, and their two children, Alex and Ashley. In her spare time, when she is not writing books or playing mom, she enjoys traveling with her family and scuba diving.
