Windows or Linux, For New Users (Paperback)

Paperback. Windows or Linux? The internet will shout at you about this for hours and leave you no closer to an answer. This short, honest book will. Written for anyone standing in front of a new laptop or looking at an old one with fresh eyes, it cuts through the tribal arguments and tells you what actually matters: what you do with your computer, what it'll cost you over the years, and which system will suit the person you actually are.Tracy Scott is a Linux fan and says so on page one - and then spends half the book telling readers when Windows is the right answer anyway. You'll find real prices, practical advice, and a clear recommendation at the end. Because "it depends on your personal needs" is not an answer.Readable in an afternoon. Opinionated where it counts. Honest throughout. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
