W. Anthony Mason is an Open Systems Resources Consulting Partner with experience in a wide array of system software disciplines during the past 16 years. Tony is also an internationally recognized expert in file systems technologies. Among his recent projects has been the design and development of several Windows NT installable file system drivers, including both physical media file systems and networked distributed file systems. In addition to his file systems expertise, Tony is Open Systems Resources resident expert on NT's Memory Manager and Cache Manager subsystems. Tony also has considerable experience designing and developing Windows NT device drivers, his most recent such project being a DMA driver for a high-speed video encryption board. Tony is the architect and major designer and implementor of Open Systems Resources' File System Filter Driver and File System Driver Development Kits. He is also the developer and chief instructor of Open Systems Resources' Developing! File Systems for Windows NT Seminar. Tony received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Chicago, where he studied mathematics and computer science. Tony is also a regular contributor to The NT Insider, Open Systems Resources' journal of Windows NT systems internals.
