A new edition. Skillfully rebacked using the former green highly decorated spine and both boards.5 raised bands with detailed gilt patternwork. Original covers and spine carefully preserved and bound in at rear. All done to a high standard, possibly by Bayntuns of Bath. Top edge gilt. Gilt ruling to boards. New paper on pastedowns over the old gilt dentils. 18 full page engravings plus a frontis piece of the author and 90 woodcuts. Some minor tanning. A couple of very minor marks to covers.
