The cover has beige cloth with black lettering. The categories of recipes are entered in alphabetical order. The recipes within each category are also in alphabetical order. The top and bottom edge of the spine strip are a little frayed, and one corner is darkened. The text block ends have darkened. The front endpaper has a gift inscription.
