Add to basketWritten to encourage communication about death and the acceptance of death as a normal part of life, this poignant, illustrated story follows the friendship of a young cancer patient and a caterpillar. As the girl shares her concerns, the caterpillar reciprocates by discussing its fears of the unknown and its forthcoming transformation into a monarch butterfly. This moving tale allows parents and educators to discuss death, dying, and the wonder of life with children in an accessible way.
