About the Author

Ralph J Fessenden, Ph. D., formerly the chairman of the University of Montana chemistry department, also has been a proprietary futures trader and systems developer since the 1950s. Dr. Fessenden retired from the University of Montana in May 1994 as professor emeritus after a 27 year career at the University. He now devotes his time to trading and the study of the markets. He is the author of a variety of books relating to trading in the futures markets.
