Hardback 8vo. In green full calf leather binding with gilt to spine and front. Gilt vignette of CR and Pooh to front. Pictorial endpapers. All edges gilt. In very good condition. Leather binding is vibrant in its original colour and well preserved. Spine faded with small chip to top end. Some slight rubbing to corners. Some minor foxing spots to endpapers, no inscriptions. Inside pages all very clean and tight with virtually no handling marks or foxing spots, only 2 very tiny spots to corner of very last page. An excellent clean and tight copy. 158pp. With b/w line drawings by Ernest Shepard. Extremely Rare Alan Alexander Milne (1926) ?Winnie-the-Pooh?, UK first deluxe edition, first printing, published by Methuen. The book was the first deluxe edition published simultaneously with the first trade edition in 1926.
