Pat Webster, Ph.D. worked with alpha males and females, and their mates in her private psychotherapy practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was formerly an assistant clinical associate at Duke University. In her personal and professional life she continues to learn to manage her own alpha assets and liabilities. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Psychotherapists. She is a second degree black belt in karate and a sailor.
Martin Groder, M.D. was in private practice in psychiatry. An alpha himself, Marty gleaned his knowledge of alphas from his clientele of highly successful people, and from several failed relationships. Until his death in 2007, he was happily partnered for fifteen years.
