About the Author

​Born and raised near Boston, MA, Nancy wrote her first romance novel at age 16, when she realized that fictional boyfriends were much easier to figure out than real ones. In the time since, she earned a degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, did some creative writing at the University of Cambridge, married the man of her dreams (he's okay with her love of Mr. Darcy. He's a keeper.), and had two children. She adores all things misty, caffeinated, chocolate, and grammatically correct.

She's lived all over the place - five states, two countries, and a US commonwealth - but she currently calls northern Virginia home. That's always subject to change based on where the Fates send her, though...
