Minor bumping to spine ends and corners, some foxing to outer pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. No publication date shown, but was originally published in 1922. The story, set in Scotland in the early 1920s, involves a lady, who, being temporarily short of funds, takes up a position as housekeeper for a doctor and his family. 320pp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
