About the Author: Suzanne Miller, M.Ed,. and Brian Spiro, Ed.S., began seeing a void in concrete strategies to help teachers assess high-order thinking when working in the classroom; then the two worked together in the School District of Hillsborough County (FL) as teacher peer evaluators. After observing over 1,500 lessons combined, both found themselves – and their colleagues – giving teachers the same feedback on challenging and assessing students with meaningful content, no matter the subject or level. Wipe Out Worksheets is the beginning of their quest to reach thousands of students by providing teachers with a starting point when planning effective lessons.
